The slow five-day tease of the 2013 Ram 1500 continues today with a look at the pickup’s interior as well as two other close-up photos. The remaining teasers of the updated Ram truck will be released throughout the course of the week, culminating in its reveal at the 2012 New York auto show.
The more revealing teaser from Ram’s Facebook page shows a rotating disk that could control either the eight-speed automatic transmission expected to come with the new-to-the-Ram Pentastar V-6 or its four-wheel-drive system. After seeing the attention put into the 2013 Dodge Dart’s cabin, we’re expecting an improved interior for the 2013 Ram 1500, thanks to better materials and possibly a revised center stack layout.
With the 2013 Ram 1500′s eight-speed transmission, a significantly upgraded base V-6 engine, and the possibility of a more inviting interior, Ram just might have what it takes to take on the segment-leading Ford F-150.
